Sea Buckthorn berries, which traditionally grow along the coastline of many of the Nordic countries, enhance our probiotic water kefir with one of the widest ranges of nutrients from a single source found on earth. Also known as the ‘Nordic Passionfruit’, in Greek mythology it was said to be Sea Buckthorn that gave Pegasus his wings and shiny coat.
Each Sea Buckthorn berry has 8-15 times the Vitamin C of an orange. They also contain Omega 3, 6 and 9 and the rarely found in plants, Omega 7. It also contains beneficial antioxidants and flavonoids, Vitamin B12 and Carotenoids.
